VolgaDB Engine is a small and fast single-user engine for working with flat files in own Volga format or client-server multi-user engine for working with MS SQL, MS Access, dBASE databases without using BDE. Component package consists of TVolgaTable, TVolgaQuery, TVolgaServQuery, TVolgaDatabase for Delphi (4,5,6,7) and C++Builder (4,5,6) and VolgaDB Desktop utility for managing Volga files. No any register settings. VolgaDB has lite($0), professional($25) and enterprise($70) editions.

Main features:

- all standard properties, methods,events of TDataSet, working with any visual DB-aware controls

- fast native access to data without BDE and compact file format, supporting most data types and autoinc fields;

- record range and filter, sort-on-the-fly;

- cached updates, reverting records;

- temporary in-memory tables, automatic backup then saving data;

- cloning and batch move, restructuring tables in code;

- password protection with ciphering;

- saving external objects in RecordData property for any record;

- saving any arbitrary text within Volga table.

- TVolgaQuery executes SQL queries in Volga database;
