Me helping residents at work with their smartphones

I`ve had both so I can figure it out. He was trying to text an image, so I knew there had to be some sort of camera or paperclip icon somewhere

I get frustrated but I just breathe and remind myself (and sometimes, them): 1. I can`t use smartphones that aren`t iphones, like, at all 2. I had to have a 23-yr-old show me how to use snapchat, and I still found it so confusing I just deleted the app

@LobsterSnappy "Show me what you`re doing!!" Ma`am I am figuring out how to do the thing you need to do, once I know the steps I promise I`ll tell you.

And whenever they mess up on anything they go STRAIGHT TO PANIC. Every time!!! No, you didn`t break it. No, nobody is going to steal your credit card because you closed the Uber app.

I had a customer who was trying to do something on their smartphone and I asked them is it an iPhone or an Android and he told me he didn`t know but he had Verizon.

Like, down to the "it`s on the upper-right of your screen. I promise it`s there. It doesn`t matter that we have different computers. Top. Top right. Of the browser window. That you are looking at. You`re on [work`s website], yeah? It says [name] across the top? Yes?"

this is PAINFULLY familiar, jesus H
