people rag on gamestop a lot (me included) but i worked there for 5 years and at no other job have i ever been told by SO MANY customers "working here must be the best!" only for them to spend 15 minutes yelling at me because their playstation move controllers were worth 3 bucks.
I gave the dudes at the coney island next door all displays we didn`t want, so I got a huge thing of chilli cheese fries each week out of it. I understand this at my core

sorry im not paying attention to your tirade, in 6 more minutes a man who looks like he got kicked out of sum41 has to check my pockets for "loss prevention" so i can leave and get a free soda from the Noodles next door cause i secretly give all their employees 10% off anything.
my real gamestop secret is that i took great pleasure in telling people their games werent worth anything because I hate customers. every customer. sorry your copy of Brink is only worth 75 cents please scream at me for 9 more minutes so i dont have to do anything before my break

i did 5am box unload at target and id rather do that for eternity than do another shift at gamestop desperately trying to reorganize a wall of wii shovelware while i watch a lady`s unsupervised kids and try to talk up blackops2 with some creep guy who`s been loitering for an hour
I was def. more like a Dad than a boss to my team (and my DMs hated it) but also... understandable
