The only thing that prevents me from getting anAugust 26, 2021, 8:02 am The only thing that prevents me from getting an iPhone is the lighting cable as soon as Apple goes USBC on their phones I`ll probably switch. The charger type for iPhone will be the least of your worries when going across to I have gone to Android for my phone, watch and tablet. All that`s left is a Mac Book and that`s only because I`m moving stuff to a new pc. bahumbug Apple won`t adopt USB C, because the approved charger and cord market is a valuable earner for them. I think youll find the iPhone will be portless in the next generation or two. Excuse me. Apple tells you what to do. I hate having to use dongles for usb c and headphones but am used to it now with iPhones. Lightning to usbc dongle is tiny, and my iPad Pro 2021 is usbc so I think ur right dan that iPhones will switch soon enough. The MagSafe charger is pretty good though. The next step for iPhone isnt USB-C, its MagSafe. The only time my iPhone hits a lightening cord is in my car for CarPlay Would never but an Apple product. The company is greedy requiring cable changes with virtually every version of every product And then the USB-D (delta variant) will come out That`s enough to hire three factory workers in China for a decade. nah really after a headphone jack i really wanted the 5a but looks like not for Australia for now. I can`t spend $1000 on something i`ll likely drop in the toilet Apple will be crazy not to listen and cater to the valuable Ilic Market ... I find this weird: Apple USBC charger, with a USBC to Lighting Cable. really? I was about to get a pixel but looks like Google has abandoned Australia for selling phones All the rumours point to Apple moving to their own propriety magsafe for iPhones and skipping USB C altogether. Got to keep those accessories profit up so you might be waiting a long time.. We`ll see you in 2051 then. It blows my mind they didn`t switch a few years ago. Did for iPad Pro`s, but nothing else. |
