DisCatalog hilft Ihnen, den Uberblick uber alle Datentrager zu behalten und schnell Dateien, Musik oder auch Filme zu finden. Von jeder Datei konnen Sie eine Vorschau mit archivieren: Inhalte von Word-, Exceldokumenten (z. B. doc, xls), Vorschauen von Bildern und Fotos (z. B. jpg), ID3-Tags von MP3-Dateien. Diese Dokumentvorschauen werden von der Suchfunktion mit einbezogen. Lassen Sie sich in DisCatalog ganz genau anzeigen, auf welchem Datentrager sich die gesuchte Datei befindet und wo Sie diese aufbewahren. Titelinformationen von Musik-CDs und Video-DVDs werden beim Archivieren direkt aus Online-Datenbanken ubernommen. Bei Video-DVDs ist diese Datenbank redaktionell gepflegt.
